C.J. Spiller Autographs
C.J. Spiller, born on August 5, 1987, in Lake Butler, Florida, is a former American football running back and return specialist who made his mark at both the collegiate and professional levels. At Clemson University from 2006 to 2009, Spiller became one of the most electrifying players in college football history. He set 31 Clemson records, including career all-purpose yards (7,588) and kickoff returns for touchdowns (7), which was also an NCAA record at the time. His senior season in 2009 was particularly outstanding, as he earned ACC Player of the Year honors and was named a unanimous first-team All-American.
Spiller's NFL career began when he was selected ninth overall by the Buffalo Bills in the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent five seasons with the Bills, with his best year coming in 2012 when he rushed for 1,244 yards and six touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl selection. Spiller's NFL journey also included stints with the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, and Kansas City Chiefs, though he never quite replicated his 2012 success.
After retiring from professional football, Spiller returned to his alma mater, joining Clemson's coaching staff as a graduate intern in 2020. He has since become the running backs coach for the Tigers, continuing to impact the program that he once electrified as a player. In recognition of his stellar college career, Spiller was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2021 and will be enshrined in Clemson's Ring of Honor in 2024.
