Cameron Wake is a former American football defensive end who played for the Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans during his professional career. Born in Beltsville, Maryland in January 1982, Wake initially played college football at Pennsylvania State University, but transferred to the University of British Columbia in Canada after struggling to break into the Nittany Lions' first team. Despite his late start, Wake enjoyed a successful college career in Canada and was eventually signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2005. More about Cameron Wake

Although he failed to make the Giants' roster, Wake refused to give up on his NFL dream and signed with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 2007. He quickly established himself as one of the league's premier pass rushers and was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2007 and 2008. After four seasons with the Lions, Wake signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2009, where he continued his impressive form.
