Carlos Rogers is a former American football player who played as a cornerback at both college and professional levels. Rogers started his football career as a standout player at Auburn University, where he played for four seasons between 2001 and 2004. After a successful college career, Rogers was selected by the Washington Redskins with the ninth overall pick of the 2005 NFL Draft. He spent his first six years in the NFL with the Redskins, where he developed into an elite cornerback. Rogers had his best professional season in 2011 when he joined the San Francisco 49ers, helping the team reach the NFC Championship game.
