Frerotte was born on July 31, 1971, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, and attended Ford City High School. Throughout his career, Frerotte was known for his strong arm, mobility, and his ability to make quick decisions on the field. He retired from the NFL after the 2008 season, having played in 147 games and throwing for 114 touchdowns and over 20,000 yards.
