Jake Delhomme Autographs
Jake Delhomme is a former American football quarterback who spent 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Growing up in Louisiana, Delhomme played high school football and then went on to play college football at Louisiana-Lafayette. After going undrafted in the 1997 NFL Draft, Delhomme signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent. He spent five seasons with the Saints, mostly in a backup role, before becoming a free agent in 2003.
Delhomme then signed with the Carolina Panthers and became their starting quarterback. In his first season with the team, he led them to the Super Bowl and threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns in the game, although they ultimately lost to the New England Patriots. Delhomme spent seven seasons with the Panthers and established himself as one of the team's all-time greats. He threw for over 20,000 yards with the team and led them to multiple playoff appearances.
After leaving the Panthers, Delhomme played one season for the Cleveland Browns before retiring in 2012. He finished his NFL career with over 20,000 passing yards and 125 touchdowns. Delhomme was known for his accuracy and toughness, and was often described as a "gamer" who played his best in clutch situations. He was also known for his leadership both on and off the field, and was highly respected by his coaches, teammates, and fans.
