Kyle Vanden-Bosch was born on November 17, 1978, in Larchwood, Iowa. He attended Western Michigan University, where he played college football as a defensive end. In 2001, he was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the NFL Draft. Vanden-Bosch spent four seasons with the Cardinals, where he established himself as one of the league's top pass rushers. Vanden-Bosch played for the Titans from 2005 to 2009, where he continued to excel as a defensive end. In 2007, he was named an All-Pro after leading the league in sacks. Vanden-Bosch was known for his relentless energy and his hard-nosed playing style. His leadership and work ethic were also highly regarded by his teammates and coaches. Vanden-Bosch played his final two NFL seasons with the Detroit Lions, where he was again a Pro Bowler in 2010.

Overall, Kyle Vanden-Bosch had a successful career in the NFL, totaling 58 sacks and earning three Pro Bowl selections. He was also known for his charitable work in the communities of the cities he played in. Vanden-Bosch retired from football in 2013 and currently works as a defensive line coach for the Tennessee Titans.
