Young's NFL career started off promisingly, with him showing flashes of brilliance as a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions. In his rookie season, he caught 48 passes for 607 yards and six touchdowns, showing promising signs of becoming a key long-term player for the Lions. However, his second season was marked by off-field incidents, including a suspension for repeated personal fouls and unsportsmanlike conduct, and reports of repeated run-ins with coaches and teammates.

Young's troubled behavior ultimately led to his release from the Lions in February 2013. He then signed with the St. Louis Rams later that year, but he was released before the start of the regular season due to further behavior issues. In 2014, he was signed by the Cleveland Browns, but he was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault and battery, leading to his eventual retirement from the NFL. Despite his promising start, Young's career was derailed by his off-field behavior, making him a cautionary tale for up-and-coming NFL players. Read even more about Titus Young at Wikipedia
