Lee Evans was a gifted American Football player, born on March 11, 1981, in Bedford, Ohio. His phenomenal skills on the football field were visible from an early age, mainly because of his incredible speed and ability to run for long distances. Evans played for his high school team, the Bedford High School Bearcats, where he broke several records and was named the team's MVP for multiple seasons. His exceptional skills on the field paved the way for his future success in college and professional football.
Evans attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and played for their football team, the Badgers. He was an immediate sensation on the team and broke several records in his freshman season. His speed and agility on the field helped him set the school record for most receiving yards and touchdowns in a single season. He continued his impressive performance during his junior year, earning himself the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year award. In 2004, he decided to forgo his senior year in college to join the NFL draft.
Evans was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. During his eight seasons with the team, he became one of the Bills' best players and a fan favorite. His speed and precision on the field helped him set several team records, such as the most receiving yards in a single season and the most consecutive games with a touchdown catch. His NFL career also included playing stints with the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lee Evans retired from professional football in 2013, having firmly established himself as one of the top receivers in the NFL.
