Marion Barber Autographs
Marion Barber, born on June 10, 1983, is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. Barber attended the University of Minnesota, where he played college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. In 2005, he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. Barber played for the Cowboys from 2005 to 2010 before finishing his career with the Chicago Bears in 2011.
During his NFL career, Barber was known for his tough, physical running style and his ability to break tackles. He was a key player for the Cowboys during their successful seasons in the late 2000s, helping them reach the playoffs in 2006, 2007, and 2009. In 2007, Barber was selected to the Pro Bowl and was also named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press. He finished the season with 975 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, as well as 44 receptions for 282 yards and two touchdowns.
Throughout his career, Barber dealt with a number of injuries, which ultimately led to his retirement from the NFL in 2012. Despite his relatively short career, Barber is remembered as one of the most physical and hard-nosed running backs of his era. His contributions to the Cowboys during their successful seasons in the late 2000s cemented his legacy as one of the team's most beloved players.
