Stephen McGee Autographs
Stephen McGee is a former American football quarterback who played for the Texas A&M Aggies from 2005 to 2009. He was born in 1985 in Burnet, Texas, and grew up in a family of football players. His father, Tim McGee, played college football as a tight end, while his grandfather, Jack Pardee, was a former NFL head coach and linebacker.
During his college career, McGee gained national attention for his strong arm and ability to move outside the pocket. He set several school records, including the most total yards in a single game and the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season. He led the Aggies to several victories, including a memorable comeback win over the Texas Longhorns in 2006. He finished his college career with 5,278 passing yards, 37 touchdown passes, and 1,277 rushing yards.
After college, McGee was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons with the team as a backup quarterback, playing in limited action as the team's third-string quarterback behind Tony Romo and Jon Kitna. He also spent time with the Houston Texans and the Oakland Raiders before retiring from football in 2014. Despite his limited playing time in the NFL, McGee remains a popular figure among Texas A&M fans and is remembered as one of the program's most talented quarterbacks.
