Todd Heap is a former American football player who played 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on March 16, 1980, in Mesa, Arizona. Heap attended Mountain View High School in Mesa, where he played both football and basketball. At BYU, Heap played college football for the Cougars football team, where he was a standout tight end. He recorded 1,685 receiving yards on 115 receptions and 14 touchdowns during his college career. After his junior year, he decided to forego his senior year and declare for the NFL draft.
