Adam Burish Autographs
Adam Burish is a former American professional ice hockey player who was born on January 6, 1983, in Madison, Wisconsin. He started his hockey career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he played for four seasons from 2002 to 2006, and tallying 44 goals, 63 assists, and 245 penalty minutes in 165 games. In 2006, Burish signed a contract with the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL), where he would spend the majority of his career.
Burish played seven seasons in the NHL from 2006 to 2013, and he became an integral part of the Blackhawks' fourth line as a feisty and physical forward. He was a member of the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup championship team in 2010, where he served as a valuable grinder and penalty killer. He also contributed with six points in 19 playoff games during the team's historic run. In his last NHL season, Burish played for the San Jose Sharks, where he only played in 20 games, but he was a dependable veteran leader in the locker room.
After his playing days, Burish transitioned into a media personality and started working as an analyst for NBC Sports Chicago in 2015. He provides pregame and postgame analysis for the Blackhawks broadcasts and contributes regularly to the network's NHL coverage. Burish has also hosted several web series for NBC Sports Chicago, including "Adam Burish's Hockey IQ" and "Chevy Drives Chicago.” He has become an influential voice in the hockey community, especially for younger players and fans who benefited from his insights and expertise.
