Brandon Prust Autographs
Brandon Prust is a former professional ice hockey player who was born on March 16, 1984, in London, Ontario, Canada. Prust started playing ice hockey at a young age and eventually earned a spot on the tough squad of the London Knights from the Ontario Hockey League. He played for the Knights from 2001 to 2005, where he developed a reputation as an enforcer, scoring 84 points (39 goals and 45 assists) and accumulating 574 penalty minutes in 221 games.
In 2004, Prust was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the third round, 70th overall, of the NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Flames in 2006 and played three seasons with the team. He also played with several other teams throughout his career, including the Phoenix Coyotes, New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, and Vancouver Canucks. Prust was known as a hard-hitting forward who provided energy and toughness on the ice, as well as an occasional scoring touch. In total, he played in 486 NHL games, scoring 40 goals and 70 assists for 110 points and racking up 1130 penalty minutes.
After retiring from professional ice hockey in 2018, Prust has remained involved in the sport, serving as an analyst and host for a variety of media outlets. He has also been active in charitable work, including establishing the Prusty4Kids Foundation, which focuses on improving the lives of children in need. Prust's tenacious play and dedication to the sport have made him a fan favorite and a memorable figure in the world of ice hockey.
