Claude Lemieux is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player who played for several teams in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born in Buckingham, Quebec, Canada in 1965, Lemieux began his professional career in 1983 with the St. Louis Blues. During his five years with the Canadiens, Lemieux won two Stanley Cup championships (1986 and 1993) and was named the playoff MVP in 1986. He was known for his physical style of play and his ability to agitate opponents, earning him the nickname "Pepe Le Pew." He was also a highly skilled player, known for his scoring ability and defensive play.

Lemieux then went on to play for several other teams in the NHL, including the New Jersey Devils, Colorado Avalanche, Phoenix Coyotes, Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks. He won two more Stanley Cups with the Devils in 1995 and 2000, and was named playoff MVP in 1995. Lemieux retired from professional hockey in 2009 with a total of 786 points (379 goals and 407 assists) in 1,215 NHL games.
