In 1970, Dryden signed with the National Hockey League’s Montreal Canadiens as their goaltender. He quickly established himself as one of the best goaltenders in the league, and in his first full season, he led the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup championship. During his career, Dryden played in six more Stanley Cup championships, winning the title in each of them. In addition to his numerous championship wins, Dryden was a recipient of the Vezina Trophy, awarded to the best goaltender in the NHL, six times.

After retiring from professional hockey in 1979, Dryden went on to pursue a career in law and politics. He served as a member of Canada’s Parliament and was later appointed as Canada’s minister of sport. Despite his extensive political and legal career, however, Dryden is still remembered as one of the greatest goaltenders in the history of the National Hockey League. His accomplishments on the ice speak for themselves, and he continues to be an inspiration to young hockey players around the world. Read even more about Ken Dryden at Wikipedia
