Matt Bradley Autographs
Matt Bradley is a former professional ice hockey player who was born on June 13, 1978, in Stittsville, Ontario, Canada. Throughout his career, Bradley played for four different teams in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was initially drafted in the fourth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, but he would go on to play for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, and Florida Panthers.
Bradley made his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks in the 1998-1999 season, playing in 77 games and scoring seven goals and nine assists. He would go on to spend the next several years split between the Sharks and their minor league affiliate, the Kentucky Thoroughblades. Bradley's true breakthrough came with the Washington Capitals, where he played from 2005-2011. During his time with the Capitals, he became an integral member of the team's third and fourth lines, known for his strong forechecking, consistent play, and willingness to compete.
Bradley retired in 2012 after playing in the NHL for 13 seasons. Throughout his career, he played in a total of 657 games, scoring a total of 95 goals and 110 assists. In addition to his professional career, Bradley also represented Canada on the international stage, winning a gold medal at the 1997 World Junior Championships. Today, Bradley remains a fixture in the hockey world, using his extensive experience to help coach up-and-coming players through various grassroots initiatives.
