Pavel Bure is a former Russian ice hockey player, often regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. Born in Moscow in March 1971, Bure began his hockey career at the age of six, playing for the Moscow Dynamo youth team. He quickly progressed to the senior team, making his debut in 1987 at just 16 years old. Bure's early talents soon caught the attention of international scouts, and in 1989, he was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL. More about Pavel Bure

The following year, Bure made his debut in the Canucks team and quickly established himself as a prolific goal-scorer.
