Ryan Suter Autographs
Ryan Suter was born on January 21, 1985, in Madison, Wisconsin, and is widely known as an American professional ice hockey defenseman. He is currently playing for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). Suter has been a vital player for the Minnesota Wild, and his contribution to the team's success is undeniable.
Suter began his hockey career at a young age playing on various teams. He played for his hometown's Madison Capitals before joining the Western Hockey League's (WHL) Kelowna Rockets, where he played for two seasons. After his successful stint with the Rockets, he was selected as the seventh overall pick by the Nashville Predators during the 2003 NHL entry draft. Suter spent over seven seasons with the Predators, playing in a total of 542 games and scoring 38 goals and 200 assists. In July 2012, he signed a 13-year contract for $98 million with the Minnesota Wild, making him one of the highest-paid defensemen in NHL history.
Suter has been an integral player for the United States Men's Hockey team on numerous occasions. He participated in the 2004 and 2005 World Junior Championships, as well as the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics. He won a silver medal with team USA at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. His style of play is built around his excellent skating speed, strength on the puck, and reliable defensive skills. Suter's consistency and reliability on the ice have made him a valuable asset to his team, and he continues to set the bar high for upcoming hockey players.
