Ripken made his major league debut in 1987 and played a total of 12 seasons in the big leagues. While his career was not as successful as his brother's, Ripken still managed to make an impact on the game. He played mostly second base, but also spent time at shortstop and third base. Ripken's best season came in 1989 when he hit .291 with 11 home runs and 44 RBIs. He was known for his solid defense and work ethic, which earned him the nickname "Billy Hustle."

Perhaps Ripken is most famous for the infamous "F*** Face" card incident. In 1989, Fleer released a baseball card featuring Billy with those very words inscribed on the knob of his bat. The card caused controversy and Ripken subsequently had to apologize for the incident. Despite this, Ripken's baseball career was respected and during his time in the majors, he had 618 hits, 20 home runs, and 150 RBI's. After his playing days, Ripken became a baseball analyst and continues to be involved in the game. Read even more about Billy Ripken at Wikipedia
