Carlos Quentin Autographs
Carlos Quentin is a former American professional baseball outfielder who played for nine seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB). Quentin was born on August 28, 1982, in Bellflower, California. He attended the University of San Diego, where he played collegiate baseball for the San Diego Toreros. In 2003, he was drafted in the first round by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Quentin made his MLB debut with the Diamondbacks in 2006, and he spent three seasons with the team before being traded to the Chicago White Sox in 2008. He had a breakout season with the White Sox in 2008, where he hit .288 with 36 home runs and 100 RBI's. The following year, he earned his first All-Star game selection, and he finished the season with a .236 batting average, 21 home runs, and 56 RBI's.
Quentin also had stints with the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners before retiring in 2016. He finished his career with 154 home runs, 491 RBI's, and a .252 batting average. Quentin was known for his powerful swing, and he was one of the top sluggers in the league during his prime. Despite injuries, he was able to establish himself as a feared hitter throughout his baseball career. Quentin will always be remembered as a hard-nosed player who always put his best effort on the field.
