Chris Capuano Autographs

Chris CapuanoChris Capuano is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for several teams including the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets, and Los Angeles Dodgers. Capuano was born on August 19, 1978, in West Springfield, Massachusetts, and attended Cathedral High School before moving on to Duke University where he played baseball and received a degree in economics.
Capuano was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the eighth round of the 1999 MLB draft and made his way up through the minors before making his MLB debut in 2003. He played for the Diamondbacks until 2007 when he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. It was with the Brewers that Capuano had some of his best seasons, including a 2006 season in which he won 11 games and finished fourth in the National League Rookie of the Year voting.
Throughout his career, Capuano battled injuries but continued to play for several teams, including the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2016, Capuano signed a minor league contract with the Milwaukee Brewers but announced his retirement from baseball that same year. Throughout his 12-year MLB career, Capuano had a record of 77-92 with a 4.39 ERA and 989 strikeouts. Off the field, Capuano was known for his charitable work and community involvement, including his support of the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress.
