The following year, he helped the Dodgers win the National League West division title and was awarded a Gold Glove for his outstanding defense.

After spending five years with the Dodgers, Gordon was traded to the Miami Marlins in 2015. He continued to excel as a leadoff hitter and stolen base threat, stealing 58 bases in his first season with the team. In 2017, he had a breakout season, hitting .308 with 60 stolen bases and winning his second Gold Glove award. Gordon’s contributions helped the Marlins win their first division title since 2003.
