Gaby Sanchez is a former professional baseball player, born on September 2, 1983, in Miami, Florida. Sanchez attended Florida International University where he played college baseball for four years before being drafted by the Florida Marlins in 2005. Sanchez made his professional debut in 2008 and played his rookie year in 2010. Throughout his professional baseball career, Gaby Sanchez played primarily as a first baseman. He had a batting average of .254 in his career with 61 home runs and 255 RBIs. Sanchez is remembered for his solid defense at first base and his ability to hit for doubles.
