Jacob Turner Autographs
Jacob Turner is a former professional baseball pitcher who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for various teams. He was born on May 21, 1991, in St. Charles, Missouri. Turner was a highly regarded prospect in high school, and he was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the first round of the 2009 MLB draft.
Turner began his professional baseball career in the minor leagues, making his way up to the Tigers' major league team in 2011. He pitched in both starting and relieving roles for the team, but his performance was inconsistent. In 2013, Turner was traded to the Miami Marlins, where he made several starts before being traded again in 2014 to the Chicago Cubs. He also played for the Washington Nationals and the Cincinnati Reds before retiring from professional baseball in 2019.
During his baseball career, Turner had a 9-21 record with a 5.37 ERA in 81 games, including 46 starts. Although he did not have a highly successful Major League career, Turner's abilities as a young prospect and his early accomplishments in the minor leagues demonstrate his potential as a player.
