Despite being a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track & field, Jeff's passion for baseball was evident since childhood. From 2012 to 2019, Jeff played for a variety of teams, including the Oakland Athletics, the Chicago White Sox, the San Francisco Giants, and the Toronto Blue Jays. Jeff's best season came in 2014 when he posted a 2.99 ERA, a 1.07 WHIP, and 202 strikeouts, earning him an All-Star nod and a fifth-place finish in the National League Cy Young Award voting.
