During his time with the Tigers (2003-2010), Bonderman was considered a core member of their starting rotation. In 2003, Bonderman was just 20 years old when he made his MLB debut. He started strong, with seven strikeouts in his first start, and went on to pitch in 28 games in his rookie season. He had a 6-19 record that year, but he improved his performance in the following seasons with a 12-13 record in 2004, a 14-13 record in 2005, and a 11-8 record in 2006. He also helped lead the Tigers to the World Series in 2006, but they were ultimately defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals.

After leaving the Tigers in 2010, Bonderman signed a minor league contract with the Mariners in 2013. He had a successful comeback season with the team, going 2-4 with a 4.93 ERA in seven starts. Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury that would lead to his retirement from baseball in 2014. Despite the injury, Bonderman had a successful career as a pitcher, with 1,002 strikeouts, 97 wins, and a 4.91 ERA over 1823.0 innings pitched. Read even more about Jeremy Bonderman at Wikipedia
