Jordan Schafer Autographs
Jordan Schafer is a retired American baseball player who spent over a decade playing in the Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on September 4, 1986, in Hammond, Indiana, Schafer's love for baseball began early in his childhood. As a child, he played baseball in Little League and on travel teams. After graduating from Hammond High School, he was selected by the Atlanta Braves during the third round of the 2005 MLB draft.
Schafer started his professional baseball career in 2005, playing for the rookie league team of the Atlanta Braves. He quickly climbed the ranks of the Braves' farm system and made his MLB debut in 2009, at the age of 22. Over his career, Schafer played for numerous teams, including the Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins, and St. Louis Cardinals. In 2017, he announced his retirement from professional baseball, ending his career with a .228 batting average, 15 home runs, and 95 RBIs.
Throughout his career, Schafer's most notable skill on the field was his speed. He was known for his ability to steal bases and was considered one of the fastest players in the league. In addition to his speed, Schafer was also praised for his play in center field, where his strong arm and quick reflexes helped him make impressive catches and prevent hits. While he may not have achieved the same level of success as some of his peers, Schafer's dedication to the sport of baseball, particularly in terms of speed and fielding, make him a memorable and respected player.
