Luke Scott

Luke Scott is a former American Major League Baseball outfielder who played nine seasons for various teams including the Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Rays, and the Kansas City Royals. Scott's baseball career began in college, where he played for Oklahoma State University. He was then drafted by the Cleveland Indians in 2001, but he did not sign with them and played in the independent minor league for two years. After his performances in the minor league, the Houston Astros signed him in 2004. More about Luke Scott

During his nine-year MLB career, Scott registered 118 home runs, 396 RBIs, and a batting average of .258. He was recognized with the American League Player of the Week award in 2008 and was also named the Orioles' most valuable player by the local media in 2010. In addition to playing outfield, Scott also served as a designated hitter throughout his career. He is best known for his power hitting and outfield play.

Scott's baseball career came to an end in 2015 when he announced his retirement from professional baseball. He left the game with multiple accolades and is remembered as an exceptional player with a fierce competitive spirit. Post his retirement, he established a Christian-based hunting organization called 'Buck Commander', which he later turned into a television series. Despite his successful baseball career, the Buck Commander television show has become equally popular among his followers.
