Marco Scutaro Autographs

Marco Scutaro is a retired Venezuelan professional baseball player who played for fourteen seasons in Major League Baseball. He was born on October 30, 1975, in San Felipe, Yaracuy, Venezuela. Scutaro was signed as an amateur free agent by the Cleveland Indians in 1994 and made his Major League debut in 2002. Throughout his career, Scutaro played for several teams, including the New York Mets, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox, San Francisco Giants, and Colorado Rockies.
Scutaro is known for his versatility and ability to play different positions, primarily second base and shortstop. In 2009, he had the best season of his career, hitting.282 with 12 home runs and 60 RBIs for the Blue Jays. In 2012, Scutaro was traded from the Colorado Rockies to the San Francisco Giants, where he helped lead the team to their second World Series title in three years. Scutaro played a crucial role in the playoffs, hitting .500 in the National League Championship Series and being named the MVP of the series.
Despite a career plagued by injuries, Scutaro had an impressive career, finishing with a career batting average of .277 and earning a reputation as a clutch hitter. After his retirement in 2014, Scutaro has worked as a special assistant to the general manager for the San Francisco Giants. Today, Scutaro is praised for his contributions to the sport and remains a beloved player among fans.
