Mike Cameron Autographs

Mike CameronMike Cameron is a former Major League Baseball player who spent 17 seasons in the league. Born in LaGrange, Georgia in 1973, Cameron was drafted in the 18th round of the MLB draft by the Chicago White Sox in 1991. He made his major league debut with the White Sox in 1995 and spent the next few seasons bouncing around between the majors and the minors.
In 1999, Cameron had a breakout season with the Seattle Mariners, hitting .256 with 21 home runs and 66 RBIs. He also showed his speed on the basepaths, stealing 38 bases that season. Cameron went on to play for six teams over the course of his career, including the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, Boston Red Sox, and Florida Marlins. He was known for his defensive prowess, earning three Gold Glove Awards and making several spectacular catches throughout his career.
Cameron retired from baseball in 2012 with a .249 career batting average, 278 home runs, and 968 RBIs. He also ended his career with 297 stolen bases, making him one of only nine players in MLB history to have at least 275 home runs and 250 steals in their career. Since retiring, Cameron has worked as a special assistant with the Cincinnati Reds and as a broadcaster for MLB Network.
