Robby Thompson is a retired baseball player who spent his entire seven-year career playing for the San Francisco Giants. Born on May 10, 1963, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Thompson starred in baseball and football in high school. Thompson made his debut on September 5, 1986, as a second baseman for the Giants. He soon established himself as one of the team's best players, earning a reputation as a strong hitter and exceptional fielder.
