Ramos began his professional baseball career in 2006 with the Minnesota Twins organization as a catcher. He worked his way up through their minor league system and made his Major League Baseball debut on May 2nd, 2010. Ramos played with the Twins for two seasons before being traded to the Washington Nationals in 2010. With the Nationals, Ramos's career began to take off, and he became a key player, known for his strong defense and offensive abilities.
