He attended the University of Florida, where he played for three seasons and helped the team win two National Championships. In 2007, he was selected third overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA draft. Horford played for the Hawks for nine seasons, earning four All-Star selections and helping lead the team to the playoffs multiple times. In 2016, he signed with the Boston Celtics, where he continued to play at a high level and make significant contributions to the team.
