Amani Toomer Autographs
Amani Toomer is a retired American football wide receiver who played for the New York Giants for 13 seasons from 1996-2008. He was born in Berkeley, California in 1974 and attended De La Salle High School, where he played both football and basketball. Toomer attended the University of Michigan and played for the Wolverines football team from 1992-1995, during which he set school records for receptions and receiving yards.
Toomer's NFL career began when he was drafted by the New York Giants in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as a reliable target for Giants quarterbacks and became a key player on the team's offense. Over his 13-year career with the Giants, Toomer caught 668 passes for 9,497 yards and 54 touchdowns, making him one of the most productive receivers in the team's history. He also helped the Giants win two NFC Championships and a Super Bowl during his time with the team.
Toomer retired from the NFL in 2009 and has since worked as a football analyst for various media outlets, including NBC Sports and SiriusXM. In addition to his football career, Toomer is also known for his philanthropic work, including his support of the National Urban League and his efforts to promote literacy among children. He has also been recognized for his contributions to the community, including being named one of the Giants' Man of the Year in 2006.
