Victor Cruz is a former American football wide receiver who enjoyed an illustrious career in the sport. He was born on November 11, 1986, in Paterson, New Jersey, and grew up playing football from a young age. In high school, he was a standout player, and his skills eventually caught the attention of the coaches at the University of Massachusetts. Despite some injuries, Cruz had a successful college career, earning a degree in criminal justice and becoming the third all-time leading receiver in UMass history. More about Victor Cruz

The following year, Cruz continued his success, catching 86 passes for 1,092 yards and 10 touchdowns. However, injuries began to take their toll, and he was limited to just six games in 2013 and none in 2015. Despite these setbacks, Cruz remained a beloved figure among Giants fans and retired in 2018 after playing briefly for the Chicago Bears.
