Charles Tillman, born on February 23, 1981, is a former professional football cornerback who played for the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers in his 13-year NFL career. Tillman played college football at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned first-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors twice in his career. Tillman earned the nickname "Peanut" early in his career due to his small stature and love of peanut butter sandwiches. However, he quickly earned a reputation as one of the toughest cornerbacks in the league, known for his physical play and ability to punch the ball out of receivers' hands, a technique he called the "Peanut Punch."
