Drew Pearson Autographs
Drew Pearson was a former American football wide receiver, born on January 12, 1951, in South River, New Jersey. He attended the University of Tulsa, where he played college football and was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1973 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He was the 55th overall pick and played for the Cowboys for his entire eleven-year career in the NFL.
Pearson became a star on the Dallas Cowboys, widely regarded as one of the best receivers in the league during the 1970s. He was a clutch performer in big games, and his highlight reel catches continued to amaze fans of the sport. He had numerous accolades during his time in the NFL, including being named to the Pro-Bowl three times (1974, 1976, 1977) and was an All-Pro selection in 1977. Pearson was also a key player in the Cowboys’ run to Super Bowl XII in 1978, which they eventually won against the Denver Broncos.
After retiring from his football career, Pearson spent many years working as an analyst and sports commentator. He was inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor and the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s all-Decade Team for the 1970s. Drew Pearson's contribution to American football is remarkable and has placed him in the history books as one of the best wide receivers to have ever played the game.
