Charles Haley Autographs
Charles Haley is widely regarded as one of the greatest American football players of all time. Born on January 6, 1964, in Gladys, Virginia, Haley grew up to become a star defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). Haley played for three teams during his career: the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Haley was drafted in the fourth round of the 1986 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He was an outstanding pass rusher and quickly became an important part of the team's defense. The 49ers won the Super Bowl in each of Haley's first two seasons with the team (1988 and 1989), and he was named the game's Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the latter. Haley then moved to the Dallas Cowboys in 1992, and he won three more Super Bowls with the team (in 1993, 1994, and 1996). Haley was named to the Pro Bowl five times and was also a two-time first-team All-Pro selection during his career.
Haley retired from American football after the 1999 season. He finished his career with 100.5 sacks, which ranks him 49th on the NFL's all-time list. Haley was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport over the course of his 12-year career. Today, Haley is remembered as one of the most dominant and intimidating defensive players in NFL history.
