Greg McElroy Autographs

Greg McElroy is a former American football quarterback who played college football for the University of Alabama, where he led the team to a national championship in 2009. He was born on May 10, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, and attended Southlake Carroll High School in Texas, where he was coached by Todd Dodge. During his high school football career, McElroy recorded over 4,600 passing yards and 56 touchdowns, leading his team to a 16-0 record and the Texas 5A state championship in 2005.
After graduating from high school, McElroy committed to play college football at the University of Alabama. He redshirted his first year, but by his sophomore year, he became the starting quarterback and led the Crimson Tide to an undefeated season and a national championship in 2009. McElroy also set records for passing yards and completions in a championship game, cementing his legacy at Alabama. He finished his college career with 5,691 passing yards and 39 touchdowns before declaring for the 2011 NFL Draft.
McElroy was selected by the New York Jets in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He played for the Jets for two seasons before being traded to the Cincinnati Bengals in 2013 and ultimately retiring from the NFL in 2014. Although his NFL career was short-lived, McElroy's success at Alabama and his impressive college career make him one of the most notable quarterbacks in NCAA history. Today, he works as a college football analyst for ESPN, sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of football players.
