Jason Elam Autographs
Jason Elam is a former American football placekicker who played for several teams throughout his illustrious career in the NFL. Born on March 8, 1970, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Elam attended Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia before joining the University of Hawaii at Manoa. During his collegiate career, he set numerous school records and earned All-WAC honors in each of his four years. In 1993, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the NFL Draft and played with the team for the majority of his career.
As a member of the Denver Broncos, Elam accomplished many feats that established him as one of the greatest kickers in NFL history. He played in two Super Bowls with the team and was named to three Pro Bowls. In 1998, he set an NFL record by booting a 63-yard field goal, a record that stood for over a decade. Elam also made a name for himself as a clutch performer, nailing multiple game-winning kicks throughout his career.
After 15 seasons with the Broncos, Elam played his final two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He retired in 2010, having made 436 of 540 field goals attempted, a success rate of just over 80%. Since then, Elam has stayed involved in football, serving as a special teams coach for several high schools and colleges. His contributions to the NFL have earned him a place in the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame, and he will always be remembered as one of the best kickers to ever play the game.
