Jeff Fisher Autographs
Jeff Fisher is a former American football coach and player who spent over 30 years in the National Football League (NFL). Born on February 25, 1958, in Culver City, California, Fisher developed a passion for football at a young age. He played football at Taft High School in Woodland Hills where he played quarterback and as a defensive back. Fisher went on to play at the University of Southern California and was part of the 1978 Rose Bowl championship team.
Fisher's coaching career began in 1985 when he became the defensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles. He went on to become the head coach of the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans in 1995 and led the team to its first Super Bowl appearance in 2000. In 2012, Fisher was hired as the head coach of the St. Louis Rams, where he served until 2016. Throughout his coaching career, Fisher was known for his tough, no-nonsense approach and his ability to develop young talent. He retired with a 173-165-1 record as a head coach, tying with Dan Reeves for the most losses in NFL history.
Fisher's contributions to the NFL have been recognized on many occasions. He was named the NFL Coach of the Year in 1994 and was inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame in 2014. Fisher has also been a vocal advocate for player safety and has served on the NFL's competition committee. In addition, Fisher is known for his philanthropic work, particularly with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. Despite his retirement from coaching, Fisher remains an important figure in the NFL and continues to be respected by players, coaches, and fans alike.
