Mark Barron is a former American football safety who was born on October 27, 1989, in Mobile, Alabama. He attended St. Paul's Episcopal School in Mobile where he was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. Barron was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the 7th overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. He played in all 16 games for the Buccaneers in his rookie season, recording 89 tackles, one sack, and one interception. After spending four seasons with the Buccaneers, Barron joined the Los Angeles Rams in 2015. He played for the Rams for four seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015.
