Marshall Faulk Autographs
Marshall Faulk is a former American football player who is widely considered one of the greatest running backs the sport has ever seen. Born in 1973 in New Orleans, Louisiana, Faulk attended San Diego State University where he played college football. In 1994, he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the NFL draft, and he would go on to play for the Colts, the St. Louis Rams, and finally the divisional rival, the Arizona Cardinals. Throughout his NFL career, Faulk was known for his speed, agility, and ability to make defenders miss. He was also an excellent receiver out of the backfield and was able to make big plays in the passing game as well.
Faulk's most impressive year came in 1999 while playing for the St. Louis Rams. That season, he became one of only two players in NFL history, along with Roger Craig, to amass over 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in the same season. Faulk's versatility and skill set made him a key part of the Rams' high-powered offense, which led the team to a victory in Super Bowl XXXIV that season. Faulk was named the game's MVP after rushing for 90 yards and catching four passes for 19 yards. In addition to his MVP award, Faulk was also named NFL Offensive Player of the Year three times, was elected to seven Pro Bowls, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
Off the field, Faulk has been involved in a number of charitable endeavors. He established the Marshall Faulk Foundation to help underprivileged youth, and he has also worked with organizations such as the Special Olympics, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Club. After retiring from football, Faulk has worked as a television analyst and has also been involved in coaching at the high school and college levels. Today, Faulk remains one of the most beloved and respected players in the history of the NFL, and his impact on the game continues to be felt to this day.
