Matt Flynn Autographs
Matt Flynn is a former American football quarterback who has had an interesting career in the NFL. Born in Louisiana in 1985, Flynn played college football at Louisiana State University and led the team to a national championship in 2007. He was then selected by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft.
Flynn played as a backup quarterback for the Packers for four years before being given a chance to start in 2010, when Aaron Rodgers was injured. Flynn made the most of his opportunity, throwing for 480 yards and six touchdowns in a single game, breaking Packers records in the process. This performance helped him secure a starting position with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012, although he struggled during his time there and was eventually released.
Flynn spent the remainder of his career bouncing between different teams and serving as a backup quarterback. He played for the Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and New Orleans Saints before finally retiring in 2015. Despite the ups and downs of his career, Flynn will always be remembered for his historic performance with the Packers in 2011, and his determination to keep fighting for his dream of playing football at the highest level.
