Sterling Sharpe Autographs
Sterling Sharpe is a former American football player born in Glenville, Georgia, on April 6, 1965. Sharpe is one of the most talented players to ever grace the football field. He played his college football at the University of South Carolina from 1984-1987, where he set multiple records and became one of the school's most dominant players.
During his seven-year NFL career, all with the Green Bay Packers, Sharpe caught 595 passes for 8,134 yards and 65 touchdowns. He was selected to the Pro Bowl five times and named First-Team All-Pro three times. He led the league in receptions with 108 catches in 1992 and set a record with 112 catches in 1993. In 1994, Sharpe suffered a career-ending neck injury, forcing him to retire at the young age of 29. Despite his premature retirement, Sharpe's impact on the game of football is undeniable, and he is considered one of the best wide receivers of his era.
Sterling Sharpe's accomplishments on the football field were recognized on August 6, 2019, when he was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. Sharpe's number 84 was also retired by the team, which is an honor bestowed on only six other Packers legends. Sharpe's contributions to the Green Bay Packers and the NFL, both on and off the field, are a testament to his talent, dedication, and love for the game of football. Today, Sharpe is a sports commentator, co-hosting NFL Network's "Good Morning Football," and is a respected voice in the world of football analysis.
