Shannon Sharpe Autographs
Shannon Sharpe is a former American football tight end who played 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on June 26, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois. Sharpe played college football at Savannah State University and was selected in the seventh round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.
Sharpe spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Denver Broncos, where he became one of the NFL's most dominant tight ends of his era. He won two Super Bowls with the Broncos, in 1997 and 1998, and was named to the Pro Bowl eight times. In 1996, he set an NFL record for receptions by a tight end with 80, and he retired with 815 receptions, 10,060 receiving yards, and 62 touchdowns - all of which are among the best in NFL history for a tight end.
In 2000, Sharpe joined the Baltimore Ravens, where he won a third Super Bowl ring in 2001. He played two seasons with the Ravens before retiring after the 2003 season. Sharpe was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011 in recognition of his illustrious career. He later worked as a football analyst for various media outlets, including CBS Sports and more recently, Fox Sports.
