Terrell Davis Autographs
Terrell Davis is a former American football running back who played for the Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2001. Born on October 28, 1972, in San Diego, California, Davis grew up in a military family and played football during his high school years. He was later recruited by the University of Georgia, where he played at the collegiate level before being drafted by the Broncos.
Davis' professional career began in 1995, where he quickly established himself as one of the league's best running backs. In his rookie season, he rushed for 1,117 yards and finished second in the league in rushing touchdowns. His efforts helped lead the Broncos to a 12-4 record and a trip to the playoffs. Davis' finest season came in 1998 when he rushed for 2,008 yards, the fourth-highest single-season total in NFL history. He also rushed for 21 touchdowns, which remains the NFL record for rushing touchdowns in a single season.
Davis' accomplishments in the NFL included three Pro Bowl selections, two First-Team All-Pro honors, and two Super Bowl championships. In the 1997 Super Bowl, Davis was named the Most Valuable Player after rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Broncos to their first Super Bowl win in franchise history. He retired in 2002 due to multiple injuries, including a ruptured ACL, which forced him to miss the majority of the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Despite playing only seven seasons, Davis remains one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, finishing his career with 7,607 rushing yards, 60 rushing touchdowns, and an average of 4.6 yards per carry. In 2017, Davis was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, cementing his place as one of the best players to ever play the game.
