Brad Richards is a Canadian former professional ice hockey center. He was born on May 2, 1980, in Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Richards began his hockey career at a young age, and at the age of 16, he joined the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Rimouski Océanic. He played for the Océanic for three seasons, where he became the team’s leading scorer and was named the QMJHL’s Most Valuable Player in the 1999-2000 season. More about Brad Richards

He played in two NHL All-Star games and represented Team Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics, winning a gold medal. Apart from his success on the ice, Richards is also known for his philanthropy work.
