In 2004, Cory attended Boston College, where he was one of the top goalies in the NCAA. He recorded a .926 save percentage and a 1.97 goals-against average in his career, which helped him earn the Hockey East Player of the Year and the Walter Brown Award as the best American-born college player in the New England area. Following his impressive college career, Cory was selected 26th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2004 NHL draft.

In his first few seasons with the Canucks, Cory played backup to Roberto Luongo, but he still managed to impress with his performances. In the 2010-11 season, he played in 25 regular season games and recorded a .928 save percentage, the fourth-highest in the league. After Luongo was traded to the Florida Panthers in 2013, Cory became the starting goaltender for the Canucks, where he became one of the NHL's top netminders. He played for eight seasons in the NHL and his impressive numbers, work ethic, and professionalism made him a fan favorite wherever he played. Read even more about Cory Schneider at Wikipedia
