Billingsley was known for his impressive durability and consistency on the mound. He made at least 28 starts in each of his full seasons from 2007 to 2012, despite dealing with some injuries during that time. In 2009, he threw a career-high 200.2 innings, with six complete games and two shutouts.

Unfortunately, his career was cut short due to multiple elbow injuries that required surgeries, and he was forced to retire in 2017. Despite his shortened career, Chad Billingsley was an accomplished player who will always be remembered as one of the best Dodgers pitchers of his era.
